Quad bikes and tool thefts on farms
|
Message from Devon and Cornwall Police The Rural Affairs Team would like to make residents aware of a recent slight increase in quad bike and farm tool thefts in Devon and Cornwall. While there is no cause for concern, we are encouraging our farming community to take a moment to review their security measures, ensure equipment is stored securely, make sure you are putting quadbikes away, taking keys inside, closing and locking barn doors and outbuildings and shutting gates to yards and access points. Please be alert to security lights when activated, keep an eye on your CCTV and report any suspicious activity to Devon and Cornwall police. If something is ongoing right now, call 999 immediately. If something has already happened, ensure it is reported to 101 on the phone or via the Devon and Cornwall Police website. |
