Preparation has started for the Knowstone Summer Fair

Following on from last year’s very successful day, the 2018 Village Day & Show will be on Saturday 16th June and planning is well under way for the big event. 

Those of you who attended last year’s event will recall the stalls, attractions and competitions – art & crafts, photography, flower arranging and baking - and you will surely have enjoyed the Dog Show.

This year we will welcome stall holders once again and we have new gazebos to keep the sun off the produce on sale!

A new event will be The Parachuting Teddies. Contestants are invited to bring a little teddy bear attached to a parachute. The teddies will be launched off the church tower and the teddy who floats the furthest wins a prize!

We are also keen to have a classic car show (over 25 years old) so anyone with an interesting motor car is invited to take part.
