Hiring the Parish Hall - Booking, Calendar & Charges

All hiring dates and charges must be agreed with the Booking Clerk. Deposit requirement will be discussed at the time of booking.
Please click here to read the Knowstone Parish Hall Hiring Agreement 2025 detailing our terms and conditions. When your booking is confirmed, you will be asked to sign the agreement. Deposit will be payable at that time. Full payment will be requested in advance of the booking date.

Hire includes electricity and the use of kitchen and all Hall equipment.
The Committee can use its discretion and grant free use of the Hall for parishioner funerals. If additional cleaning is required after the event, a donation towards the cleaning costs would be required.
Any requests for special rates or discounts need to be discussed with Booking Clerk, Treasurer and Committee Chairperson. They together can decide on the outcome. This needs to be recorded in the hiring agreement that the Hirer signs.
The use for parish specific consultations/public meetings is free of charge. The use for local government events such as elections, will be charged at usual rates.
