The cattle grid on the way to Rackenford, at the top of Haresdown, is being restored/replaced. From 24th September, the road will be closed for a week.

The family of wildlife photographer Johnny Kingdom have released on Facebook that "Johnny's Funeral is Sunday, September 23, at 2pm at Bishops Nympton Church. This is a celebration of his life so please wear what you wish."
