Remembering the fallen on Armistice Day

On Armistice Day Reg and Copper Howe put 11 crosses with poppies around the stone ring at Knowstone pound with battery candles that were lit at dusk and from 11am. Each cross depicted one of the men of Knowstone parish who lost their lives in the First World War and are remembered on the memorial plaque in the St. Peter's Church.
