Knowstone Parish Clerk vacancy

PARISH CLERK VACANCY

Approximately 10 – 15 hours per month inc 1 evening meeting

Knowstone Parish Council has a vacancy to appoint a new Parish Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer.

Although Knowstone is a small parish, the Parish Council meets monthly and is actively engaged in a variety of community projects.

The successful candidate should have good administration, minute taking and computer skills plus an ability to prepare accounts and appropriate financial statements. Knowledge of local government procedures, and current developments, will be an advantage; however, training can be provided through DALC courses etc. where appropriate.

The remuneration package will be a matter for discussion depending on qualifications and experience, but will be in line with DALC pay scale LC1 at £10.10 per hour.
