Knowstone Annual Meeting of the Parish - well attended

The Knowstone Annual Meeting of the Parish took place in the Parish Hall on Tuesday 24th May and was very well attended.

Mike Smith, Chairman of the Parish Council, chaired the meeting and successfully steered the proceedings through a packed agenda including - presentations from Devon County and District representatives, various reports on local issues, and a stimulating and interesting talk by Alison Hernandez, the newly appointed Police & Crime Commissioner for Devon, Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly. Alison explained the role of the P&CC, outlined her vision for the future of policing in the region and took part in a lively and informative Q & A session with the audience. 

The audience then considered a wide range of local issues concerning Knowstone Parish.
