Knowstone and Yeo Mill dance clubs raise £1085 for the Special Olympics

Yeo Mill and Knowstone dance club’s season ended on Wednesday 29th March at Yeo Mill with a presentation of £1085 from both clubs to three young people from the EX36 area with special needs who are representing North Devon in the `Special Olympics’ in August at Sheffield. The money will buy kit for the whole team of 14 from North Devon and there will be a photo when they are `fully kitted’. Those present said it was a brilliant evening at which the three young people demonstrated one of their games of wheelchair bowls, called Botcha.
