My wife and I "escaped to the country" in 2015 when we left the bustle of life nearer London 
 and bought a part-renovated farmhouse about a mile outside Knowstone.
The BBC did try to help but were unsuccessful (Series 15 episode 1) 
Although we didn't find our dream home the first house we saw was only 10 miles from where we now live.
We had planned to have our horse living at home with us and in 2021 we finally achieved that!
I have spent most of my career working with computers but now am kept busy walking the dog
 and looking after the horse.
We are indeed fortunate to be in such a lovely locality, both immediate and with such wonderful
countryside within easy reach.
As a Councillor I hope to be able to contribute to the community in whatever
way I can and will endeavour to represent the village to the best of my ability.
