CPR familiarisation day well attended
A CPR familiarisation day was held at the Parish Hall on 6th October. The training sessions took place throughout the day and 30 parishioners attended in total. The attendees learnt valuable skills on how to give CPR. A number of parishioners stated willingness to become 'defibrillator fetchers' (able to collect and use a defibrillator). The next steps are for the Parish Council to discuss the acquisition of a defibrillator for the village - something that many neighbouring villages are also doing. The event also raised £52.60 for the Community Heartbeat Trust. The picture below shows the CPR training in action.
